The Colour Group was formed in 1927 to support the new technologies of colour photography.

It has been questioned whether that role still exists and the Committee has recommended that the Group will be disbanded at the end of the year.

This has been put to Council who have decided that there must be an EGM where all members are given the opportunity to vote on accepting the recommendation.

That EGM has now taken place and the recommendation has been accepted.
